Hi, I’m Luigi Rossi.
I’m the lawn mower enthusiast behind LawnMowerGeek. I can happily spend far too long comparing deck widths, folding handles and battery platforms—and wondering why choosing a mower sometimes feels harder than mowing the lawn.
I built this site around a simple idea: the right mower should fit your yard, your routine and the space you have to store it.
A great mower choice starts with the lawn you actually have.
Why LawnMowerGeek exists
It is easy to get distracted by the biggest battery, the widest deck or the longest feature list. I’m more interested in the everyday questions: Will it turn comfortably in a narrow space? Is a cord practical for this lawn? Does self-propelled drive solve a real problem? What is included in the box?
That curiosity is what drives LawnMowerGeek. The goal is to make the choices clearer, explain the compromises and help you avoid paying for a machine that does not suit your lawn.

How I approach recommendations
I work from manufacturer information, product manuals, identifiable retailer listings and published research. I look at the exact model and kit, then ask what it means for someone choosing a mower for a particular lawn.
These are research-based guides. I do not present a product as personally tested unless a specific article documents that testing. I also avoid invented scores and treat advertised runtime as a manufacturer claim, not a result every lawn will achieve.
